Summer Herbal Skills Immersion—Skin & Wound Care
Community Connect ~ Panel of Medicine Keepers: Sunday, September 13
4–6pm EST via Zoom
Plants have a humble yet powerful way of rooting us in place as well as grounding us in our bodies. Meet common backyard plant medicines and explore them through lenses of folk tradition, modern science, embodiment, and intuition. Engage with us as we weave sacred plant medicine deeper into the fabric of our bodies and communities in service to Climate Justice. Join Community Herbalists Katherine Elmer (Celtic/Nordic) and Carl Brokenhorse (Haudenosaunee/Seneca) for an introduction to medicine making from two indigenous lineages and create a tin of first aid salve in your own home using healing plants harvested from the Metta Earth land in community.
All Herbal Immersion courses will feature a pre-ordered Herbal Skills materials kit, a virtual video to follow along with, and an interactive Community Connect ~ Panel of Medicine Keepers via Zoom. NOTE: Limit of 20 Herbal Skills materials kits available per offering.
Register by Sunday, August 30 if you’d like to receive an herbs & supplies kit.
