We are able to team with you to support private retreats or other events in our gardens, wild lands, yurts, bell tents, or indoor spaces. In helping you design your time at Metta Earth, we are committed to providing a host of ecologically sustainable choices.
We also offer the option to be supported with individual sessions in, yoga/meditation, art making fasting or whole foods wellness, deepening connection to nature, or many other ways of guiding, mentoring, or facilitating your experience…always honoring the pure, bare minimum of just being in sanctuary space. For detailed information about these options, see our Metta Sessions page.
Let us know of any other interests for retreats, and we will be happy to respond further. We enjoy customizing spaces to suit specific needs. Check out our main house rooms, yurts, and bell tent accommodation spaces on our Stay page.
*Please note that meal pricing is the same for both individual and group retreats. However, pricing does vary for package arrangements on group retreat accommodation spaces.
Guided Sessions
We offer the option to be supported with outdoor, private guided sessions, and can send you a separate listing of these offerings (such as yoga, farm tours, gardening, herb classes, and more). Let us know of any other interests for retreats, and we will be happy to respond further. We enjoy customizing to suit specific needs.
Yoga Room
We have a lovely, light filled, spacious Yoga Room space with a sliding glass door entrance to the outside for easy indoor/outdoor access to our Plum Grove outdoor gathering space.
Main House Front Porch
Metta Earth guides are available to offer sessions in this space, outside in nature, or in our outdoor pavilion. We can guide all sessions for a retreat or co-create and take turns teaching various sessions.
The front porch of the main house has continued to be a wonderful gathering place with outstanding sunset views and surrounding terraced gardens with blossoms and berries that attract hummingbirds and bees. We serve meals from the adjoining big kitchen, and these can be enjoyed on the porch or taken on trays to the nearby Plum Grove, other outdoor settings. The porch is a great place to meet with others or enjoy a place to sit and read. There is also a good internet connection on the porch and a place to charge devices.
Outdoor Canopy
We have a 24’ x 40’ outdoor, open structure for groups made from tree poles and covered with a golden colored canvas tarp. The ground is grassy and well maintained. This space can comfortably support 20-30 yoga mats, seating options in a big circle, or events for up to 50 people.
Heritage Barn Loft
Of all the structures and spaces at Metta Earth, the barn loft is one of our most favorite rooms. On the second floor of the heritage barn, this space is often used for drying herbs for teas. It can also be used for gatherings of about 10 or so people. We like to roll out a rug on the wooden, pine floor or use our sheepskins and handmade wool meditation rugs for comfortable sitting. There are two tall windows looking out over the south pasture that cast light on the wooden beams of the barn. This space shines with the soul and warmth of Earth.
THE LAND
Metta Earth land includes 158 acres of stunningly beautiful fields, forests, small streams, and variety of ecosystems offering bountiful opportunities for teaching. Accessibility to the land is included in rental of the indoor spaces. Otherwise if you are just coming to the land, we request donations based on mutual attunement.
